Each patient is unique and has different needs that cannot be predicted in advance, both in terms of clinical diagnosis and the need for listening and information.
Time will be taken with each patient to listen to their needs and provide all the necessary information about their care, using terms adapted to their level of knowledge, supported by diagrams and anatomical models.
In addition, a comprehensive physical examination is performed, which determines the final treatment plan, ahead of so-called “paraclinical” examinations (imaging and other complementary examinations).

Because the appearance of scars can have a social impact, particular importance is given to the aesthetics of skin healing. To achieve this, Dr. Sturbois-Nachef uses specific skin suture techniques that promote the most linear healing possible.
As skin healing also depends on the patient's genetics, this attention is maintained throughout the healing process, and the use of specific creams/dressings and scar massages may be necessary.
Dr. Sturbois Nachef is available to respond to patients' needs and questions, even outside of consultation hours, via the office phone number during business hours and by email. In case of emergency, my team and the clinic's switchboard will provide patients with an “on-call” number. This means you will never be left without an answer, even for questions you may have forgotten to ask during your consultation.
Dr. Sturbois-Nachef works with a team of anesthesiologists/algologists (doctors specializing in pain management) for whom postoperative pain management is a top priority.
You will be given detailed prescriptions tailored to your medical history and treatments to alleviate any postoperative pain. Specific postoperative follow-up is provided to ensure that the painkillers are effective when you return home.
From the initial consultation to the post-operative period, a transparent approach is essential to establish a relationship of trust between the surgeon and the patient. All aspects relating to the condition and its treatment (including the risks of the procedure) will be explained to you, both verbally and in writing.
In addition, if a procedure is scheduled, a detailed estimate will be provided. Dr. Sturbois-Nachef is registered with the social security system (sector 2) and charges fees that are not regulated.
The fees will be covered in full or in part, depending on your health insurance provider. His secretary, Nadine, will guide you through the steps to take with your health insurance provider.
